Volunteer at the Festival.

A one-day block party this size runs on volunteers. Roles include setup, slice service, ID checkpoint, and teardown — and you’ll get a front-row seat to the Front Range’s biggest pizza day while helping put meals on neighbors’ tables.

We’re offering three-hour shifts. Sign up to volunteer and we’ll schedule you for a shift about a week before the festival — no need to pick a time now.

Work in service? We especially need experienced servers and bartenders for our ID Checkpoint. If you’ve checked IDs before, please say so in the message/comment box when you sign up — we’ll route you straight there.

Our Mission

"No neighbor hungry,
no slice wasted."

Presented by Pizza With Purpose — the philanthropic union of Urban Field Pizza, Rosalee's Pizzeria & Antonio's NY Style Pizza.

The Colorado Pizza Festival is a one-day community block party in the heart of Longmont. We close down 4th & Kimbark, fire up the ovens, plug in the amps, and let the Front Range eat its way toward a more food-secure community.

All proceeds from the Colorado Pizza Festival benefit organizations battling food insecurity.

Our 2026 nonprofit beneficiaries are Slice Out Hunger, Longmont Food Rescue, Community Food Share, and Colorado Friendship, working to end food insecurity on the Front Range.

The Amateur
Pizza Competition

Think your homemade pie can hang with the pros? The Colorado Pizza Festival's Amateur Pizza Competition — presented by Forno Bravo — is an open call to Colorado's home cooks and backyard-oven obsessives. Bring your own dough, sauce & cheese for a cheese-pizza throwdown fired on a Forno Bravo oven, live on September 5th.

Free to enter · Entries close August 21, 2026

The Grand Prize

Win an Ooni pizza oven, two 2027 Golden Tickets, automatic entry into next year's competition, and gift cards to Urban Field, Rosalee's & Antonio's. A Forno Bravo throwdown — competition starts 2:30 PM; the winner is announced around 4:00 PM.

It Takes a Village
(...to Feed a Village.)

We can't do this without you. Pour a beer, slice a pie, or set up a booth — every hand puts another plate on a neighbor's table.

Become a Vendor

Pizzerias, beverage vendors, retail booths are all welcome on the festival floor. Electricity and WiFi included. Limited spots available.

Common
Questions.

What does a General Admission ticket include?
General Admission includes entry to the Colorado Pizza Festival. Food, pizza slices/samples, beverages, and vendor items are purchased separately unless you have a Golden Ticket.
How do pizza purchases work for General Admission guests?
General Admission guests may purchase pizza directly from participating pizzerias inside the festival. Each pizzeria operates its own booth and point-of-sale system.
Are pizza prices the same at every booth?
Basic slices — think cheese — will be the same price at every pizzeria (we're finalizing that price now). Specialty slices are a second, higher tier, with each pizzeria setting its own specialty pricing.
Will tickets be available at the door?
Event-day ticket availability has not yet been confirmed. We recommend purchasing tickets in advance to secure entry.
What payment methods will vendors accept?
Pizza and beverage vendors are card only (credit or debit), while some retail and boutique booths may be cash only. Our Donation Contests are cash only, so it's smart to bring a little cash along.
Can I enter the Amateur Pizza Competition?
Yes — if you're an amateur (not currently employed in any capacity in the baking field), and it's free to enter. It's a single-division cheese-pizza competition for 15 home cooks: bring your own pre-made dough, sauce & cheese and fire your pie on a Forno Bravo oven at the festival. Entries close August 21, 2026; the 15 selected competitors are notified by August 24. See the full details and enter here →
Will there be gluten-free, dairy-free, or vegan options?
Gluten-free is available — we'll have 500 gluten-free doughs at the festival, split among participating pizzerias, while supplies last. Dairy-free and vegan options aren't confirmed yet; we'll share updates as menus are finalized.
What should guests with food allergies know?
Because food is prepared and served by multiple independent vendors in a festival setting, guests with allergies should speak directly with vendors before ordering. Gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, or other allergy-friendly items may not be prepared in a separate environment, and cross-contact may be possible. Guests should use their best judgment based on their dietary needs.
